The Folk Arts Hub Educational and Cultural Foundation, founded in 2014 by Levon Der Bedrossian, an avid Armenian fabric collector, is dedicated to preserving and promoting Armenian folk cultural values. The foundation strives to not only safeguard these traditions but also facilitate their growth.

Our foundation's primary goal is the revitalization of traditional folk art, with a specific emphasis on traditional weaving, fostering a creative approach to handicrafts among the younger generation. Special attention is given to the visual arts, particularly through the creation of short documentaries. Till now the foundation educated more than 2300 children and adults from all over Armenia. 

Since its inception, the foundation has steadfastly focused on teaching traditional fabric types and passing on this knowledge to younger generations. Over the years, our foundation has developed various programs that have expanded the foundation reach, spanning across the entirety of Armenia. In addition to instructing in well-known Armenian weaving techniques, the foundation delves into the study of forgotten weaving methods, such as silk carpet weaving and silk belt making used in traditional costumes of Greater Armenia.

At the heart of our mission, the Folk Arts Hub Foundation not only engages in technical art dissemination activities but also actively supports the education and popularization of Armenian carpets by providing scholarships.
